About

Our Mission

Catbird Review is a new literary magazine founded in 2026.

We publish poems that rattle the bones and inspire the spirit, poems that speak to universality of existence and the individuality of experience, and poems that can’t find a home elsewhere. We welcome work by writers at all stages of their careers.

Our first issue is upcoming in Spring 2027, with submissions opening in the Fall 2026. Visit the Submission page for more information.
